Busy Me

So I have been busy lately with work. I am just starting to lead a few very interesting projects that has some unique UX challenges.

One is an internal tool for AA | RF to collaborate across disciplines while also serving as a client extranet. So far we have being focusing on using MOSS as a solution but man oh man is there usability issues with that tool.

The second project is to assist a partner in coming up with a vision and strategy for a state government site. So with my team we have been diving deep into the world of government sites, their online capabilities and the future of online government sites (as predicted by analysts). Very interesting work indeed. The thing most eye opening to me is how far behind a majority of the sites are and how the end user and their needs are not even considered (for the most part). Well there is lots of work in the government sector for UX peps. :-)

As I come across more interesting ideas and thoughts I will pass them along.
